Puzzle Idea #2

I was thinking about the kinds of puzzles I've never tried creating before, and I don't know if I've ever actually made a jigsaw that had puzzle elements to it. So here's the idea. It's a jigsaw on one side and minesweeper on the other side. The jigsaw pieces all fit each other - it's a generic jigsaw with no uniqueness to tell you that you got the fit right - but the picture is still a normal picture. You can flip each piece over and it'll help confirm whether you got things right - the backs have numbers or colours on them and there are rules about what can be next to what. You can logically solve the whole puzzle upside-down and then flip it over for the picture, or vice versa and confirm the puzzle, or you can do a bit of both.

The idea is a bit like how cryptic crosswords have both the definition and the cryptic clue that hint to the same answer. With the jigsaw the pieces are generic but the picture and the puzzle hint to the same answer.
